Carrot salad, peaches and cherries with seitan steaks.

As part of my campaign against the lettuce and tomato I present this interesting sweet and sour salad.

salad Ingredients (2 servings):
  • 2 carrots 1 peach
  • 10 cherries (if fresh is better)

To
    seitan steaks
  • 6 seitan
  • 3 cloves garlic salt
  • Oregano plant Mayonnaise thinned with a little water.

Preparation. Grate the carrot
thick, cut in half the cherries and peaches, diced guys. Mix everything. Skip
seitan in a pan with a little oil, add the garlic (so you do not burn it is best to add at the end), and brown on both sides.
At the plate, put the mayonnaise over the steaks, salt, and oregano.

nutritional properties.
Cherry is rich in carbohydrates, especially fructose, while its calorific value is moderate compared to other fruits. Contributes significant amounts of fiber, which improves intestinal transit. In regard to their content of vitamins, are present in small amounts of provitamin A and vitamin C.
What really stands out from the cherry is the content in flavonoids (mainly anthocyanins and related with the characteristic color of these fruits) and ellagic acid group of polyphenols, both excellent antioxidants. Source
