This is one of my favorite burgers. Whenever I do a lot and freeze for when I'm not like cooking. Recommended!
lentil burgers
Ingredients:
- Lentils cooked
- pepper Onion Garlic
- flour to make fainá
- oregano salt (or seasoning you like)
Preparation:
are left to soak lentils (or lentejón) overnight and then cooked in hot water.
quantities because honestly I do not put a recipe I always do not measure anything ... (And is good to experiment a bit in the kitchen and not always accurately guided to the recipes;))
Once the lentils are cooked take them out of the water and do everything possible to remove all liquid (if not more than burgers in the pan will be a soup.)
with a fork or a food processor grind the lentils. For me I like soooo ground are not to be seen to be lentils.
After a paste that is added lentils everything that is going to taste: pepper, onion and minced garlic, salt, oregano and other spice is at hand. To give consistency
you add the flour faina.
We put a ball with that pasta, aplatamos and gilded in a skillet on both sides over low heat (with city because they are quite delicate).

The lentil is high in protein which combined with cereals as a protein of high biological value, comparable with the meat. The iron content is high, but being non-heme type, needs to be consumed together with foods rich in vitamin C (kiwi, strawberries, tomatoes, lemon juice, camu camu, etc) to be used by the body.
